i am officially obsessed with cooking right now! I'm using so many differeny ingredients that I have never used before and everything (so far) has turned out yummy!

my sister-in-law, emily has this blog with her friend val and it has all of these yummy and healthy recipes on it. i stole one.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
that you make with 100% whole wheat flour instead of white flour (the stuff that everyone knows is bad for you :) the recipe also called for 1 cup of light brown sugar and 1 cup of white sugar. i used the brown sugar, but i replaced the white sugar with 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce. the cookies turned out yummy!

i'm not quite sure what I will make tonight, but i hope it turns out just as good.

oh, and thor got some of our wedding pictures done!!!!

Picky Eater

I made a new and healthy meal for my husband last night and he actually ate it...and liked it!



I'm really trying to eat healthier and be a more healthy person overall. I am trying to eat more veggies, whole grains, and organic foods. It's a challenge because my husband and I can both be picky sometimes.



I made a Taco Casserole last night with organic ground turkey instead of beef and fresh peppers and onions instead of a packet of seasoning. I also used the 2% milk cheese which is supposed to be better for you. The whole thing turned out really well and despite our mutual dislike for peppers we both enjoyed the meal. I plan on making more yummy and healthy foods this week and hope that Scott likes those as well : )
